Product Overview
AFS Logic Wall is a permanent formwork system for concrete walling for external and internal walls. It consists of lightweight sandwich panels created by bonding hardwearing fibre cement sheets to galvanised steel stud frames.
The panels are quickly and simply hand erected on site and then core-filled with concrete to achieve load-bearing walls that are fire and sound rated. The fibre cement sheeting remains in place as sacrificial formwork, and provides an excellent substrate for applied finishes such as skim coating, acrylic render and paint.
The panels can vary in size and thickness to openings suit a variety of architectural and engineering design requirements. The structural capability of the product when filled with concrete makes it an ideal solution for the construction of buildings such as multi-unit residential apartments, hotels and motels, commercial offices, shopping centres, hospitals and prisons.

Boundary Walls
The clean finish of AFS Wall provides an excellent solution for boundary walls particularly beside glass office buildings.
Retaining walls

Process
Shop Drawings
AFS LogicWall ® is a shop-drawn system and is custom manufactured to suit the design of each project. This means we can accommodate columns, beams, corners, raked walls, sills and lintels on your project.
The shop-drawn AFS LogicWall ® system will dramatically reduce waste and mess onsite compared with traditional construction methods such as block work.
Each panel is labeled with a Panel ID code that corresponds with the shop drawings. This allows for enhanced coordination in delivery and installation stages.
Manufacturing
AFS Wall is manufactured by precision in factories capable of producing large volumes of panels with quick lead times. The controlled environment and automated machinery delivering quality and consistency.
Delivery
AFS Wall is freighted to site with specialised transport equipment to ensure quality and safety is maintained. The panels are flat stacked, creating pallets, which are easily delivered to site and craned onto floor slab ready for placement.

Installation of Panels
Following set out, the panels are hand lifted into place over a steel floor track and reinforcement starter bars. They are then plumbed and braced with adjustable braces.
Door & Window Openings
Window and doorway openings are formed with sill and lentil panels and door-frames installed. Reinforcement steel and electrical services are placed in the walls.
Reo & Services
The panels are braced using adjustable braces, then plumbed and straightened. Horizontal and vertical reinforcement steel and electrical services are run in the walls.
Core Filling
The erected panels are then core filled using concrete pumping methods. The concrete walls are then ready to perform as a load bearing structure for the next floor slab or roof structure.
Wall Finishing
The AFS Wall system has delivered quality structural intern al and external walls for buildings ready to occupy.
